About Kayu
Vocalist | Educator | Songwriter

Many adult singers feel stuck - even when they understand technique. They know what to do, but still feel tense, unsure, or disconnected when they sing. I work with singers who want to feel more natural, free, and confident in their voice.
With a background in classical training, later influenced by jazz and contemporary styles, my work draws from various vocal traditions and techniques. I see the voice not only as a technical skill but also as a means to convey emotion and tell stories through sound.
My Approach: From Control to Expression
Most vocal challenges aren't about a lack of ability, but about holding back.
My work focuses on helping singers:
- Release vocal cord tension and reduce excessive control
- Reconnect with their natural sound
- Integrate technique with expression in a practical way
